The most important things to know about concealer makeup
How to wear foundation and concealer
It's best to apply foundation first and follow with concealer. After foundation is in place it's easier to see where concealer needs to go and it often reduces the amount of concealer we need to use, meaning we end up with a more natural looking finish.
How to apply concealer
If you use foundation, apply before your concealer now gently pat concealer with a fingertip onto the area you're concealing, then press it in with a concealer brush and carefully blend for a second skin finish. The key here is to avoid smearing or dragging which will cause concealer to crease.
Where to put concealer
Apply concealer to any areas you want to hide, usually that's dark circles under the eyes, blemishes and redness often around the nose area.
How to stop concealer from creasing
When applying concealer ensure you use just a small amount, too much concealer will be more likely to crease. Apply gently with your fingertips or a sponge and avoid smearing or dragging as this action can lead to a creased finish. Use a setting spray like Fix It Forget It Spray to fix your makeup and keep concealer looking fresh all day.
