How To Create A Smokey Eye

Step 1: Eyebrows

Step 1: Eyebrows

I’m going to start with my eyebrows. It frames your face and it will make your eyeshadow look better. I am going to use Sourcils Styler, it’s a tinted brow gel and you can use it to make your eyebrows big and bushy. I always like to brush my hairs upwards, that way it gives you a nice arch as well. If you want to, you can build it up to get a bigger and bolder effect. Straight away you can see how this step brings out your eyes and frames your face.

Step 2: Eyebrow

Step 2: Eyebrow

For eyeshadow, I like to start by applying a bronzer like Belle de Teint in the crease. That way it brings out your crease and give a bit more definition.

Using the Hypnôse Palette in ST3, I’ll start by using the bronzey in the middle and applying it in the crease. You want to go from lighter to dark, to darker. Don’t go straight in with a dark colour. Keep building, building, building until you’re happy with it. Take your time.

Next, I’m taking the darkest shade in the palette with a small brush. Tap off the excess shadow and then apply it to the outer corners of the eye, along the lash line.

Then take a mix of the shimmery shade on the right of the palette and the peachy shade at the bottom. Pop that on the rest of the eyelid with your finger.

With the small brush, I’m taking the bronze shade in the middle again and applying it to the lower lash line. Then I’m going over with the darkest shade. I like to apply the same colour to the top and bottom lash line, I feel that this brings the eye look together.

Take the bronzer and a big fluffy brush and blend everything together.

Finish by taking the lightest shade and pop a bit of that in the inner corners of your eyes and under the brows with your fingers. Then your eyes are finished!

Step 3: Mascara

You want to finish up with the Monsieur Big Mascara. I really, really, really like this mascara. I like my lashes to be big and this has fibres in them, so it really gives you extreme big lashes. I like to put the mascara on my lower lashes as well because it opens up your eyes and makes you look awake straight away.

Step 4: Eyeliner

Step 4: Eyeliner

To finish the eye look, I’m taking the Grandiôse Liner. The nice thing about this eyeliner is that you can twist it and get the right angle. I’m going to apply a tiny bit on the lash line. The trick is that instead of making one straight line, it’s better to make tiny, little ones. I also like to make tiny little dots between my lower lashes because it makes your lashes look bigger and longer.

How To Create An Every Day Lip

Now that know how to create a smokey eye, find out how to create the perfect lip to complete the make up look!

Step 1: Liner

Step 1: Liner

Finish the smokey eyes look with a neutral lip. Start by lining the lips with Le Lip Liner. When you line the lips, you want to gently sketch it, you don’t want to make any harsh lines. This took me the longest to learn because you have to be so precise. To get a bit more definition, I like to make it darker in the corners of the lips and then make two lines in the middle. Blend in the lip liner with the little brush on the end of the pencil.

Step 2: Lip Gloss

Step 2: Lip Gloss

I’m using L’Absolu Gloss Sheer in shade 222. It’s a really sparkly and glossy lip gloss and I like the lips to be shiny and glossy. Put it on, rub your lips together and you’re done!
