In its 18th year as the official beauty partner for the BAFTA’s, Lancôme continues to dazzle the red carpet with looks ranging from Estee Lalonde’s statement lip to Lupita Nyong’o’s panther-inspired eyes. Meanwhile, a smoky eye “a la” Emma Roberts or Millie Mackintosh’s dewy skin were also among the stunning looks. How to do these beautiful looks at home? Just take a look below.

Estée Lalonde

Estée was clear from the start, she wanted a statement lip, so she got a pout to talk about.

FACE: We opted for a dewy, radiant and flawless complexion as the backdrop for Estée’s punchy pout, which we created using a blend of Teint Miracle Foundation in 008 and 010 Beige Porcelaine. Belle de Teint Healthy Skin Powder in 05 Belle de Noisette added polish to the skin and enhanced the complexion’s naturally healthy glow.

EYES: Subtlety was key for Estée’s eyes, so we used Hypnôse Palette in ST1 Brun Adoré followed by Grandiôse Extrême mascara to fan out lashes and Sourcils Styler in 02 Chatain to add definition to brows.

LIPS: To create the standout pout, which was the centrepiece of Estée’s look, we used L’Absolu Rouge lipstick in 397 Berry Noir. While this dramatic shade comes in a matte finish, its creamy texture means it’s comfortable on lips while delivering long-lasting bold colour.

Lupita Nyong’o

Designed to be regal and fierce, Lupita Nyong’o’s look featured a graphic feline eye.

FACE: We prepped Lupita’s skin with Lancôme Advanced Génifique, and used Advanced Génifique Eye serum Light-Pearl under her eyes and La Base Pro oil-free primer on her t-zone. We applied Teint Idole Ultra Wear in shade 16 using a damp BeautyBlender. We dusted Blush Subtil 022 Rose Indien on the apples of her cheeks and used Custom Drops Liquid Highlighter in Bronze Glow to accentuate her cheekbones.

EYES: Lupita’s eyes were prepped with La Base Paupieres Pro 06 Sienne before we traced thick graphic lines with Art Liner 01 Noir along the upper and lower lash lines. The lines were extended outwards into wings for dramatic effect. A pop of metallic blue Ombré Hypnôse Metallic Stylo in 31 Bleu Chromé in the inner corners of her eyes and two coats of Monsieur Big Mascara on the upper lashes finished the look’s defining feature.

LIPS: We prepped lips with Absolue Precious Cells Lip Balm before creating a base with Le Lip Liner 132 Caprice and topping it off with L’Absolu Rouge 047 Rouge Rayonnant.

Emma Roberts

We created a look centred around a statement eye to complement Emma’s dramatic sculptural gown.

FACE: We used Teint Visionnaire and Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer to create a fresh and natural complexion. We added a light dusting of Poudre Majeur Excellence Libre to at once banish any t-zone shine and further enhance skin’s flawless finish and luminosity. While a hint of Blush Subtil in 03 Sorbet Corail on cheeks created gentle definition.

EYES: Complementing Emma’s jewellery choice, we used the Hypnôse Palette in ST2 Kaki Chic to create a subtly burnished lid, while a slick of Crayon Khôl in 01 Noir extended into a subtle winged flick to add drama. Hypnôse Volume-à-Porter mascara lengthened lashes and provided intense colour to finish off the look.

LIPS: Keeping the focus on Emma’s dramatic eye we opted for a natural yet sophisticated lip. With its cream finish, which delivers luminous colour,L’Absolu Rouge 250 Beige Mirage is a subtle showstopper.

Millie Mackintosh

Millie’s look contrasted flawless dewy skin with a darkly mysterious smoky eye.

FACE: Working to highlight Millie’s naturally dewy complexion, we used Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation in 045 Sable Beige and Belle de Teint Healthy Skin Powder in 05 Belle de Noisette to create an immaculate backdrop for Millie’s statement eye. Custom Drops in Champagne Glow further boosted Millie’s dewy complexion. Tip: Custom Drops are the ultimate multitasker. Add them to your foundation to create a custom finish and hue; use them as a highlighter on cheekbones, or even smooth a smidge on lids to act as an eyeshadow.

EYES: Mille’s smoky eye was created using Hypnôse Palette in ST3 Terre d’Ivoire. LIPS: Millie’s lip look was a subtle contrast to her smoky eye. We used Le Lip Liner in 326 Natural Mauve followed by L’Absolu Gloss Cream in 202 Nuit & Jour.

Manal Abduljalil

A fresh, gently contoured complexion with a pout that pops.

FACE: Manal was keen to keep the focus on her statement lip, so we used we used Teint Idole Ultra Foundation Stick in 14 Brownie for some light contouring, as well as Blush Subtil in 032 Rouge in Love on the cheeks. To further enhance Manal’s natural glow, we usedCustom Drops Liquid Highlighter in Champagne Glow and Rose Glow on her cheekbones.

EYES: We prepped lids using Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage High Coverage Concealer 048 as a base. Next, we couldn’t resist using our favourite multi-tasking product - Custom Drops in Bronze Glow – as an eyeshadow. We added a few layers to build up colour, before setting with a gold-hued shadow from the Hypnôse ST3 Palette. We then used Crayon Khôl in 01 Noir and 028 Brun to line upper and lower lashes and finished the eyes with Hypnôse mascara.

LIPS: We lined Manal’s lips with Le Lip Liner in 132 Caprice before topping off with L’Absolu Rouge Matte in 189 Isabella.

Sam Chapman

A pretty pink pout.

FACE: At Lancôme flawless complexions are our forte. So, when Sam decided she wanted a bold lip, we immediately went about creating the perfect canvas to showcase it in all its glory. We used Teint Visionnaire to deliver impeccable coverage with a natural finish teamed with Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage High Coverage Concealer to perfect the complexion. We dusted skin with Poudre Majeur Excellence Libre to play down any shine and set foundation. Sam’s complexion was embellished with Belle de Teint Healthy Skin Powder in 06 Belle de Canelle.

EYES: Because the focus of Sam’s look was on her lips, we took a pared back, but nevertheless glamorous approach to her eyes. We tapped our favourite multitasker – Custom Drops in Golden Glow and Hypnôse Palette in ST3 in Terre d’Ivoire to create a subtly burnished gaze. We finished the look with of Crayon Khôl in 01 Noir and lashings of Hypnôse Volume-à-Porter mascara.
