It's an amazing adventure… I was 5 years old when Armand Petitjean founded Lancôme and I've admired the brand ever since. So, when they suggested I be spokesperson for the campaign – and with Daria no less – I was over the moon. It's a life-long dream come true!

I'm flattered! In the beginning, I wasn't really aware of it. Then I started to love playing this delightful game as seduction is essentially great fun! Yes, sometimes I play it up with my sequinned mini-dress or my rose-adorned garter. It suits my character – I just adore a sense of carefree lightness! It's nothing more than an enchanting little game.

It's an attitude that you always carry with you, “a kind of lifestyle” as they say at home in the US. I don't need much of an excuse to get glammed up. Even if I'm just going out for a walk, I wouldn't dream of leaving the house without make-up. Glamour is taking delight in looking good for yourself and for others, all the time.

It's simple. My eyes have been my fatal seduction weapon since 1967's Lancômatique, the brand’s first ever mascara! I've been hooked on Lancôme eye make-up ever since. Over the years I've tried all of the brand's creations… and now I've experienced a preview of Hypnôse Star, I'm never going to let it go! It offers high-glamour volume that draws all eyes towards your own: I just love it! I've never felt such a star with a simple flutter of my lashes!

Putting on make-up is a game: if you want to be seductive, make sure you have fun in front of the mirror. My most bewitching looks are the ones I've felt enthusiastic and daring about. Never forget: beauty is all about having fun!

I always paint my lips in a heart shape: I wouldn't feel myself without that signature touch!

I always begin by waking up as gently as possible: I blossom into the day slowly like a rose in spring! Then I make pancakes topped with red fruit and Chantilly cream (I simply can't resist!), savoured with a smoothie... From here, things get more hectic: I have to see my agent regularly about one casting or another. In the late afternoon, I treat myself to a little break with my girlfriends to swap the juiciest bites of Hollywood gossip over cream cakes! In the evening I rarely stay in – I love going out too much! It gives you the chance to test out your latest nail polish, blusher or a brand new dress... So of course I take my time to get ready – actually that's my favourite part! I love to make sure every eye is on me in the hippest venues I'm invited to.

I'm afraid it's still top secret, but it's an incredible adventure! It's half-way between a cartoon and a Hollywood blockbuster. And it was a delight to work with two-time Cesar-winning director… Oops, I've already said too much! You'll find out more this summer. I will just add that I loved filming with Daria, my co-lead. You already know the supermodel, but you're about to discover an outstanding actress!

Star! It's a magical word full of promise and dream… Every woman feels like a star when she's wearing fabulous make-up. But also “boop-oop-a-doop”: all the power of glamour summed up in a few syllables! And I should point out that I was the one who invented it, not my friend Marilyn, who adopted it in a nod to yours truly!
